We are an apex-level cooperative, that aims to mobilize all primary co-operatives in Garo Hills, to work towards a systemized, sustainable future for our farmers.
AGHMPCS, or the All Garo Hills Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. is a collective of all aspiring primary Co-operative Societies operating in the Garo Hills division of Meghalaya. The purpose of AGHMPCS is to work towards socio-economic wellbeing and fixed income routes for our farmers, by providing necessary intellectual and monetary resources.

AGHMPCS will act as a collective, providing functional literacy, institutional support and expertise to transform primary cooperative societies into sustainable economic models.
Our Methodologies
After having rigorously evaluated the present socio-economic conditions of farmer lives in Garo Hills, our prime solution for facilitating change has been community mobilisation through forming farmer collectives. We aim to achieve this through two layers of collectivisation.
Primary Co-operative Societies:
Forming primary Co-operative Societies at a local level across Garo blocks to pool resources and accelerate economies of scale.
Formation of Apex Level Co-Operative Society:
Forming AGHMPCS and collectivising all Primary Co-operative Societies under it, to provide the societies with end-to-end solutions, institutional support and expertise on how to transform into sustainable economic models.
